1. What is Destroombank?

Destroombank offers a network of power bank stations where you can rent and return portable chargers. Our stations are spread throughout the Netherlands and Germany in restaurants, shops, and other public locations.

2. How does renting a power bank work?

It’s very simple! Just hold your bank card against the reader on the machine. The rental starts immediately, and a fully charged power bank will be automatically dispensed.

3. How much does it cost to rent a power bank?

The rental price is €2.50 per hour. Once the total rental cost reaches €30, the rental automatically stops. You no longer need to return the power bank — it becomes your property.

4. How do I pay for renting a power bank?

You can easily pay contactlessly with your bank card at the power bank station.

5. What types of cables are included with the power banks?

Our power banks are equipped with USB-C, micro-USB, and iPhone (Lightning) cables, allowing you to charge all common devices.

6. How long can I keep the power bank?

You can keep the power bank for as long as you like. The rental price remains €2.50 per hour. Once the total amount reaches €30, the rental automatically stops and the power bank is yours.

7. Where can I return the power bank?

You can return the power bank at the same station where you rented it, or at any other Destroombank station in the Netherlands and Germany.

8. What happens if I lose the power bank?

Lost the power bank? No problem. The rental automatically stops after 12 hours. You will then pay the maximum amount of €30, and the power bank becomes your property.

9. How can I become a partner or franchisee of DeStroomBank?

There are several ways to collaborate with Destroombank. You can place a station at your location or become a franchise partner. Visit our contact page for more information and to sign up.

11. What are the benefits of placing a DeStroomBank station at my location?

A Destroombank station offers your customers extra service without any investment or maintenance costs. The only cost for you as an entrepreneur is the electricity, which is very low — on average just €3 per month, based on the average kWh rate.

The station also adds an innovative touch to your business, relieves your staff from handling charging requests behind the counter, and can extend your guests' stay.

Moreover, our machines can be canceled on a monthly basis. You're not tied to any long-term contracts. We believe in the strength and value of our product and don’t want to pressure entrepreneurs. That's why we deliberately choose a flexible model — to keep everyone happy.

We are also well on our way to becoming the market leader in the Netherlands and Germany. In the future, we will launch the Destroombank app, allowing users to easily find the nearest charging station. Whether you want your location to be visible in the app is completely up to you — it's optional.
